Established in 1991, the Dayananda Sagar College of Dental Sciences, is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka and is also
duly recognized by the Dental Council of India for the Under-Graduate, Post Graduate and Ph.D Courses that it offers.
The Dayananda Sagar College of Dental Sciences managed by Mahatma Gandhi Vidya Peetha Trust is now in its 32nd Year under the banner of the Dayananda Sagar Institutions (DSI), which has been a home of education over 60 years. Over the years, this college has distinguished and established itself as one of the sought-after colleges for Dentistry in the Country.
Dayananda Sagar College of Dental Sciences has been part of the DSI Family and continues to impart high quality of Dental Education and possesses state-of-the-art teaching and research facilities, classrooms, tutorial facilities, Pre-Clinical and Clinical Skill Labs creating a perfect environment for knowledge and skills development. The College of Dental Sciences is equipped with World-Class infrastructure with the latest of equipment and technology to train students with the most recent and advanced Dental Care.
Initially, started with an Under-Graduate intake of 40 BDS seats which subsequently was upgraded to an intake of 60 BDS Seats per year. MDS Seats total to 22 Post Graduates per year and Ph.D in 4 specialities.
Post Graduation is being offered in 7 Specialties in Dentistry namely:
- Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics
- Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
- Oral Medicine and Radiology
- Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics
- Periodontics
- Prosthodontics, Crown and Bridge
- Public Health Dentistry
Ph.D is also being offered in 4 specialties namely:
